Happy Sunday!
Recap: I published Don’t Poke the Bear on Thursday. It highlights how calling out your opponents can go wrong.
“Revenge is a shot of adrenaline injecting new life into your adversaries. Why arm your competitors with such a weapon? Isn’t life hard enough as is?”
I’m going to experiment with a new format called Keep it 💯— exploring ideas that drive compound growth in 100 words or less.
Let’s jump in.
Vulnerability
It’s a strength.
Last week, during an intense leadership about pricing, our CEO said, “I’ve never done this before, and I’m scared we’ll get it wrong.”
Suddenly, everyone started contributing.
His vulnerability comforted us. He permitted us to share ideas we weren’t 100% confident about, without fearing ridicule.
Likewise, Drake has used his vulnerability to become the biggest name in music.
He’s never shied away from his emotions.
In his new music video, Drake gets dunked on by Kevin Durant and cries in a bathroom.
I’ve struggled with vulnerability — I didn’t want to look weak.
How about you?
See you next week,
Bardia
